FINALLY did it! A tad longer than a pixie, but definitely not a bob. I feel relaxed and excited to have done such a dramatic change. It's exactly what I needed. And knowing that I have donated my hair to a good cause fills me with warm, fuzzy feelings.
I know a lot of people will ask if I miss my long hair; of course I do, I've always had long hair and therefore this is a big transition. But it's just hair, and it will grow back. And I'm anxious of trying a million new hairstyles with this short cut.
I'm amazed how much older this haircut makes me look - in a good way! I finally look my age!
I'm so excited that I went out for new headbands! lol.
